And of course, excellent clubhouse and hospitality provision to match. With a very healthy and active membership across all demographics, you’ll find a friendly atmosphere where new members are made welcome. And with hundreds of thousands invested in the course over the past two years to adapt to wet winters, members enjoy more golf throughout the seasons. We are always delighted to welcome new members. Membership Fees 2025-2026

Discounted membership is available for intermediates, juniors and children. The subscription year begins on 1st April , but of course you can join any time. The fee is adjusted pro rata for members joining throughout the calendar year. Annual fees can be paid in full or spread over 12 months via direct debit. If applicable, our entrance fee can be paid over two years.

There is no entrance fee for Intermediates/Junior/Child/Bunny categories, but on transferring to a Full Membership, the entrance fee shall be determined based on the current joining fee and the Member's number of full-years consecutive membership. If the Member has completed five or more full years consecutive membership, the joining fee will be waived. For between one and four full years of consecutive membership there will be a pro-rata reduction in the joining fee.

One additional Corporate Card may be included in the package for a further £954 including VAT per year. Holders of corporate Cards will be entitled to the bar and catering discounts that are enjoyed by social members of the Club. Please contact the Secretary for more information.

ROCKLIFFE HALL

A modern Championship course which often hosts the Trilby Tour and Senior Opens. Rockliffe Hall is located in the village of Hurworth, near Darlington.

James Braid Association

Renowned golf course architect and Five-times Open Champion James Braid designed over 400 courses, including our own. Over 300 of those courses came together in the Association of James Braid Courses, founded by a Past Captain and Past President of Henley Golf Club. Members of Middlesbrough Golf Club enjoy preferential green fees at these courses when booking in advance.

We are proud members of the Society of 1908 Golf Clubs, established to promote friendship between clubs. Members of Middlesbrough Golf Club enjoy golf on member courses on a reciprocal or discounted basis when booking in advance. Courses within a 50 mile radius of Middlesbrough offer 50% off green fees.
